Camp BETH (Where I learned to be Beautiful/Had Wonderful Experiences/Learned to Trust/and found my Heart) is a concentrated 2-week summer therapy day camp for sexually abused girls ages 10 to 13.
The Camp is designed to develop positive behavior and self-discipline tools through fun activities and therapy sessions. The sessions are conducted in a safe environment, providing immediate feedback and therapy.
After participating in Camp BETH, the girls show great therapeutic progress through their connections with peers, counselors, increased trust, improved boundaries, and an increase in positive self-worth.
Many of the girls stated that Camp BETH was “the most fun they had ever had”. The following are excerpts from a survey given to the girls on the last day of Camp:
