While the holidays are so joyful for many of us, and the world, this is a very hard time for many of our clients. Many of our clients are spending their first Christmas away from their parents, brothers, grandfathers and other family members. While the rest of the world is hustling and bustling, they are preparing to testify in court, arranging to be in foster care, etc.
At Bethesda, we hold Christmas parties for each therapy group. We also provide children in individual therapy with a special gift, to make their season a little brighter. If you would like to help make this a holiday to remember for our clients, you may help participate in this special program.
For the parties, we always need holiday cards, holiday pencils, candy canes, holiday candy, ornament, etc. for the children, but you may also sponsor gifts for a therapy group or a client in individual sessions.
