Board of Directors Application

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Board of Directors of Bethesda, Inc. Our governing Board plays a vital role in advancing the mission of providing trauma-informed therapy and education to childhood sexual abuse survivors and their families across Oklahoma. The Board is entrusted with the fiscal, legal, and ethical health of the organization and provides leadership in governance, fundraising, community representation, and strategic direction.

While no rigid quotas are in place, members are expected to:

• Attend at least 80% of scheduled board meetings annually

• Serve on at least one committee

• Participate in events, fundraising efforts, and strategic planning

• Make a personally meaningful financial contribution

• Actively represent and promote Bethesda’s mission in the community
